- Size: 30K Date: 3/06/95
- Description:
- Extract Packages 1.1- EP is a tiny little tool to extract packages from a
- NCK backup file. This makes it possible for you to erase the card and
- still upload a single package of the original card, if necessary. Very
- nice especially for MP120 owners with FilePad and Notion and lot's of
- demos in their internal RAM. Now you can restore only FilePad or Notion
- and not all the other stuff. To use EP; start it and open a backup (card

- every 128 characters. The transfers with Slurpee, however, work great and
- with Slurpee 1.6N speeds upto 38,400 Baud Are supported. Large Slurpee
- transfers to the Notes soup are split into roughly 4 k segments unless the
- Big Notes option is selected (this allows of 30 k segments).

- Description:
- Paperback 1.02 - Paperback takes pure text files and generates a Newton
- Package file from them... allowing you to create Newton books straight
- from your text, without the NTK, for free! Paperback doesn't (currently)
- support multiple imbedded fonts or graphics or any non-text files. I may

- Name = Parse TDF
- Path = PDA10:NOS 1.x:Mac:Parse TDF
- Size:117K Date: 6/08/95
- Description:
- Parse TDF - ParseTDF is a Macintosh application I wrote originally to
- transfer my Sharp Wizard files to the Newton more intelligently than the
- dumb built-in application. It makes a moderately intelligent attempt to
- figure out names and companies and phone numbers and creates a slurpee
- file that usually does a pretty good job. To use ParseTDF you need to
- start with a text file in which each contact entry is separated by a
- carriage return. Each contact entry is broken down into lines either by
- tabs or by newline characters. The first line must be the name of a person
- or a company. ParseTDF first looks at an entry to try to figure out
- whether the first line is a person or an entity.
